Han Zaw Latt: The mind is the alchemist that turns experience into identity.

Psychology student and researcher · Host of Seit Ahara

Han Zaw Latt studies psychology at Towson University. His research looks at trauma, resilience, metacognition, and people affected by adversity and displacement.

He created and hosts Seit Ahara, a mental-health talk show for the people of Myanmar. He co-founded New Generation Myanmar, a K-12 virtual school, and founded Well Burma, a U.S. charity for displaced families in Myanmar.

Before 2021, he was a pioneer of Myanmar pageantry and media. After the military coup, he left Myanmar as a political refugee. Psychology became the way he understood that loss, and his work now helps others do the same.
